Today's digital cameras are less expensive and easier to use. But unfortunately, it still can be difficult to print their high-quality pictures. And since printing supplies aren't cheap, it can also be frustrating.

7. Click the "Clear" button to empty your layout. And if necessary, repeat steps 1 through 6 to print more pictures.
Most cameras store their digital photo files on removable memory cards. And most camera manufacturers make readers for these cards. These handy little drives allow you to use your memory cards the same way you use floppy disks. For more information on memory card readers, go to your camera's web site and search for "reader".
pic2print recognizes a variety of different file formats including JPG, BMP, TIF, PSD, TGA, PIC, PNG, and GIF. In other words, you can use pic2print to preview and print virtually any combination of files!
For best results, use the 8½x11" photo paper that was specifically designed your printer. For example, we have an Epson inkjet printer. Whenever we want to print really nice pictures, we use Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper. We tried Kodak's and Hewlett-Packard's stock, but Epson's just looked better. Perhaps if we had a Hewlett-Packard printer, the HP stock would look better. In other words, if you're a stickler for quality, you may want to research which combination of "Properties" settings and paper types works best for your particular budget and needs.
If your plan is to print lots of pictures, consider buying your printing supplies in bulk from a mail-order outlet. You'll eventually use it all, and you'll save literally hundreds of dollars!
When cutting-out your pictures, consider using a paper trimmer. You should be able to find one at your local office supply store.
